Bulk Custom Badges for Crews & Agencies

Built for the Crews Who Actually Wear Badges

These badges are made for the people who work in public safety, not for a catalog photo. Flight paramedics and flight nurses who need something that survives a shift in a helicopter. Critical care transport teams who want their credentials legible at a glance. Search and rescue crews, offshore medics, structural firefighters cross-trained in EMS — anyone whose badge has to hold up through real conditions while still looking sharp at a briefing or a community event.

Agencies ordering in bulk typically include a mix of roles: paramedics, EMTs, nurses, first responders, and crew leads. Each badge can carry a different name and title while staying on the same layout — same agency logo, same font, same placement. That visual consistency matters when your crew is presenting in front of a hospital, responding to a mass casualty scene, or standing in front of a camera.

We also work with non-traditional public safety roles: dispatch supervisors, EMS coordinators, air medical base managers, critical care educators, and SAR team leads. If your role involves an ID badge and you want something more durable and distinctive than a plastic laminate card, this is the right place.

Made in Auburn

Every badge is laser-engraved by hand in Auburn, Alabama. Not a fulfillment warehouse. Not overseas production. Made here.

How the Design Process Works for Crew Orders

Start at the badge designer and upload your agency or program logo. Our artwork conversion tool prepares your file for engraving, so even logos that weren't built for laser work — complex gradients, thin lines, small text — get cleaned up properly. You don't need to send a separate vector file or chase down a graphics department. Upload what you have and we'll handle the rest.

Once your logo is in, you'll choose your layout: name placement, title line, any credential abbreviations you want included. The live preview updates as you go, so you can see the actual engraved look — not an approximation — before you finalize anything. This is the same view you'll use when you come back to reorder for new hires or replacements.

After you submit, every order goes through a manual review before production begins. We check that the artwork will engrave cleanly, that names and titles are formatted correctly, and that the overall layout looks right at the actual badge size. If anything needs adjustment, we contact you before cutting leather. Crew orders especially benefit from this step — catching a title abbreviation error before 15 badges are engraved saves everyone time.

Why Leather Engraving Holds Up Where Other Badges Don't

Embroidered patches and printed plastic badges both have a ceiling. Embroidery struggles with small text, fine logos, and anything that needs clean edges at a small scale. Printed badges fade, scratch, and yellow. Neither survives the day-to-day abuse that a working EMS provider puts their gear through — washed flight suit pockets, MOLLE webbing, repeated snaps and clips, exposure to sun and sweat.

Laser engraving on full-grain leather removes the surface to create permanent contrast. There's no ink to fade and no thread to fray. The engraved lines stay sharp through repeated cleaning and heavy use. The leather itself develops character over time rather than looking beat-up — a badge that's a year old on a flight medic looks seasoned, not worn out.

For agency-issued gear, leather engraving also signals a level of care and professionalism that off-the-shelf name tags don't. When your whole crew shows up with matching, well-made badges, it reads as intentional. That matters in patient interactions, in community relations, and in the way a crew carries itself.

Placing a Crew Order and Checking Out

Crew orders are placed the same way individual orders are — through the badge designer — but you'll be building and submitting one badge at a time for each crew member, or working with us directly if you have a large roster. For agencies ordering ten or more badges at once, reach out to [email protected] before you start so we can confirm the workflow that makes the most sense for your team size.

Checkout runs through Shopify's secure payment system. Your billing and card information is handled entirely by Shopify — it never touches our local systems. We receive order details and shipping information, not your payment credentials. For agencies requiring invoicing or purchase orders, contact us before checkout so we can confirm available options.

When your crew roster changes — new hires, promoted staff, name corrections — reorders are straightforward. Your existing badge layout stays saved, so you're building on a consistent foundation rather than starting over. That consistency is one of the practical advantages of ordering from a single source: every badge that comes off the laser matches the ones already on your crew.

What to Expect After You Order

After your order is placed, it enters our manual review queue. We check your artwork, confirm name and title formatting, and verify that the layout will engrave correctly at the badge dimensions you selected. If we spot anything that needs your input — a file that won't engrave cleanly, a title line that's too long to fit, a logo that needs a specific crop — we'll contact you at the email on your order before we proceed.

Once the review is complete and production starts, your badges are engraved, finished, and packaged for shipment. Tracking information is sent to your order email. Crew orders are packaged together unless you've arranged separate shipping for individual recipients — let us know at order time if you need split fulfillment.

For questions about a pending order, artwork requirements, or anything specific to your crew's setup, the best contact is [email protected]. We're a small operation and we read every message. If something's off with your order, we'd rather fix it than ship it wrong.
